Estero, FL (October 21, 2016) – Put on your little black dress and join interior designer Jean Renoux at Miromar Design Center on Friday, October 28 at 11 a.m. to discover the exciting story of iconic French fashion designer Coco Chanel, co-founder of the Chanel brand.

In his free seminar “Coco Chanel: The Grand Dame of Fashion,” Renoux will explore Chanel’s life and love affairs as well as the struggles she experienced in her career after World War II, during which her work was surpassed in popularity by that of Christian Dior and his “New Look.” Nevertheless, Chanel has had a profound influence on both fashion and interior design. Her status as a top designer was resurrected in her later years, and even today her inspirational style is prominent throughout the world.

Renoux was born in France and has lived in London, Geneva, Washington, DC and New York City before relocating permanently to Sarasota, where he has resided for more than 35 years. He leads art and museum tours worldwide and is a provider of continuing education to architects and interior designers.

The seminar is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited and registration is required. Register online at miromardesigncenter.com or call (239) 390-8203 for more information. Miromar Design Center is located at I-75, Exit 123 and Corkscrew Road in Estero, across from Miromar Outlets.
